Hungary To Cease Opposition To 5 Billion-Euro Aid Package To Ukraine
Hungary will stop objecting to making a $5.4 billion fund to help Ukraine’s military, Bloomberg reports. This decision sets the stage for an agreement to improve a plan for providing weapons to Kiev.
However, technical issues need to be sorted out first by the member states.
Additionally, Hungary has indicated that it won’t block a consensus at a meeting of European Union ambassadors on Wednesday, where a deal on a larger $54 billion financial aid package is currently stuck.
